Week Off

We are enjoying our week off. Yesterday we did the things we normally do on Fridays. We got the laundry done, went grocery shopping and managed to get Jack to take a big nap. We also managed to make cousin Issac a baby sling during nap time and work on our 2009 Taxes. Over all we had a pretty busy day. Every time I tried to sit down to work on the Taxes Jack would come over with a hockey stick and say to me, "Get Down, Hockey!" He had a one track mind...just like his Daddee. After shopping he tried to bring in a hockey stick from the garage. The only problem was it was a full size hockey stick and it was pretty hard to manage it in the house. I had to take it away from him which didn't make him very happy but he kept getting it stuck everywhere. He was very happy when his Daddee came home they spent a good hour out in the garage playing hockey and golf. And went for a bike ride as well. He is starting to put some sentence together. Last night Glenn was pretty impressed with Jack saying "I need a ball!"

Today we went and ran a few more errands and decided to have lunch at McDonalds. Which normally would be a good idea. Except for it's been a long time since I've taken Jack there and the one we went to had a playland. So he kept saying "get down" and wanted to go into the playland. He went down one little slide all by himself and did great. Then a big kid wanted to "help" him go twenty mintues later Jack had made it up to the big slide and had decided he was too scared to come down. I tried sending a bigger kid up there to push him down the slide. It didn't work. So I had to climb up the playland and bring Jack down. Playland's are made for kids and not pregant girls. We did manage to eat pretty good he had two of his cock o doodle doo nuggets.

And took a big nap which allowed me to spend two hours vaccuming the car out. It wouldn't have been sooo bad but it hasn't been done all winter. And at one point in time this winter Glenn decided we could Dog Sit for some friends. And Glenn went to go pick up the dogs with my car and no sheet to have the dogs sit on. So too white long haired dogs rode in my black carpeted car. GROSS! I had some major gagging issues b/c of all the hair and Glenn did a quarter job of cleaning it up this winter but I got all of the hair out of there. Also the pee stains that the little dog left in the back of my car as well.......moral of the story Don't Dog Sit for dogs that have to be inside and aren't potty trained and don't let your husband drive your car.

What a cute picture of Jack sleeping, he is getting so big. He sure is a good hockey player. Love to hear him talk! GG
