Since my last posting a lot has happened. We are now offical PGA, Glenn pasted a PTA at Rutger's, a golf resort about 45 mins from our house. This has been 7 years in the making and is a huge accomplishment/relief for him. It is expectally nice with the baby coming he won't have to spend hours practicing and going to these tests and now golf can be FUN.

Over last weekend two of Glenn's friends, Pete and Matt, from High School and their wives came and stayed the weekend with us. We had a great time and the weather finally warmed up while they were here. We played some golf, bouce ball and relaxed together. Matt and Amanda Maunu are to Glenn's right. And Pete and Tiff Carlson are to my left. We also spent some time on Sunday with our good friends Jeremy and Kari Johnson from church fishing and going out to eat at our favorite resturant. Jeremy won by far with the biggest bass. But the sea gulls won out the most, because we kept having these tiny fish swallow the hooks and die in the de-hooking process.

We've also reached the one month left to go point with the baby. Which is kinda scary. It seems like you can never be prepared enough for anything in life and we are going to have to take this one diaper at a time. At the last doctor's appointment they did another ultrasound and it's still and it! The doctor is guessing the baby will be about 7lbs and I'm guessing it's gonna be about 10lbs. I am down to three weeks left of work and I've been feeling great. There have been some really warm days this week and that seems to drain my energy, but I really love the fact that when I'm at work the day goes by fast. Before I know it it's the weekend and time to put my feet up and hit the garage sales. I also have some great patient's who are really interrested in the baby and one who even gave me a blanket she made for the baby this week.

I have been having Aunt Carol's luck at the garage sales, today I found a Bell Bike Pull behind stroller/cart that seats two room for Spike :) that is basically brand new. This is going to work not only for bike trips down the paul buyan trail but should work great for walking around the block due to the uneven paving around here.

These are the lastest blooms out in the garden. The past two years I have started Lupine from seed in the house. This year three of them bloomed two were purple and one a pale pink. The Columbine are starting the to look a little less showy due to the heat and the dumb rabbit that Spike is letting chew on their leaves. I also found some Columbine growing under our tempory wood porch steps, not really sure how they got there but if Glenn helps me out I think we can move it and rescue them. Must have been I spilled some seeds down there last spring.

May Showers, Bring June Flowers???

We are only about a month behind, but it might be starting to look like spring around here. Too bad it took so long...

I still have some hostas and sedum that I thought had died off and today I noticed that they didn't they are just REALLY SLOW. But the good news is that some of the Columbine that I planted from seed last year are blooming. I have beautiful pinks, solid purples, purples and whites, whites and fushia so far. Last year I also grew some Delphinium, Coroposis, Balloon Flowers and Lupine from seed and they look like they are going to bloom this year as well. This year I started another varitey of Lupine, Lavander, Delphinium and some Ruddebecka. So hopefully they continue to grow as well. I am really not good at spelling these big words.

My bleeding hearts are doing well dispite the fact that they have been flattened about ten times with all the rain we have been having. All in all I think that all my hard work has paided off and I will have some beautiful gardens to enjoy this summer.
Which I am really looking forward to being able to spend some time just putting my feet up and reading a good book while the littlest Hagberg takes a nap. I don't really care for Minnesota winters but the summers aren't too bad.

Another Rainy Day

No exciting pictures for today...
The long stent of rain has continue once again. Today was not very warm either it may have gotten up to 50F at the warmest. It's hard to believe we are almost half way done with June and have only broke 80F once! We may need to start looking for somewhere new to move to that is warmer and has better rules for neighboring cows.
So far the cow situation has not gotten any better. And we discovered that the fence we had hoped was electric...is not. Yesterday Spike decided to go under the fence, which is not good, and I am not such a speedy runner anymore. So far the people we have talked to at the county offices do not have any rules that they will enforce as far as how close you can keep your cows to your neighbors. I still have one person from the state and one from the county to hear back from. We will probably have to put up a better fence around our property so that we can let Spike go out without supervision. Because when the baby comes I won't be able to be two places at once. Unless the cows could just magically disappear........

Here's some pictures I thought some people would like to see of Glenn's Belly. He's about 8 months along and really enjoyed his parenting classes. We did the classes Friday Night/Saturday All day. So Glenn had his first day off in a long time. He celebrated by still getting up at 5:30 and getting 9 holes in before our 9:30 class. And if he knew about this post he would kill me....

Stop the Insanity

I am not sure how many things can go wrong in a week but we've had quite a few.

On Sunday our neighbors put up a fence 60 feet from our house it was sunny,

On Monday I had to work with my new dentist and was twenty mintues behind all day and the neighbors got two sheep and it rained,

On Tuesday Glenn got summounded for jury duty for July and August and it rained,

On Wednesday the Pengiuns lost the Stanley Cup so Glenn was mad, the neighbors got 4 cows and it was cold and rainy,

On Thrusday I made phone calls and did research all day to try to figure out if these cows could be 60 feet away from my house and the zoning and planning people were no help, the daycare we wanted to get into called and they do have a spot for us now but it was cold and rainy wind/thunderstorm all night long,

Today is Friday I am.....

Waiting to hear back from some people I emailed and spoke with at the county

Taking Pictures of our Landscaping before it becomes cow chow

Waiting to get a call back from the hospital so I know where our Labor Preparedness Class is that is tonight

It is breezy, humid we will say semi-warm and smells pleasantly of cow munure I would go sit out on my nice patio my family helped us build but I have no desire to listen to a cow moo while I try to read a book.

Here goes...

Today isn't the nicest of days to have off of work. Since it has been cloudly and rainy all day I have been stuck inside, instead of being able to be outside watching my flowers grow or sunning myself with a good book. So instead I am stuck inside watching tv and trying to figure out the blog thing.

Here are some pictures that Mother has been asking to see. The backside of the house after the new siding was put up last August. Thanks to Dad, Nate and Meghan.
And the new garden we finished around the septic pipes. These pictures were taken a few weeks ago so by now the plants are starting to fill in and the grass looks greener.
