Wow! Six months already...sad my little baby is growing up too fast. He was suppose to get his six month shots yesterday but he got out of them. Lucky duck. It had only been seven weeks and not eight so now he gets them when we get back from Florida. I really wanted to know how much he weighs now and how long he is though.

Jack is getting so big. He usually sleeps through the night now (6-7 hours). Unless he's sick or pretending he's a baby. Lately we have only had to get up at 4 to feed him and then he is wide awake at 6:30...so we are still a little tired but it's getting much better.
He has mastered all the first baby foods. Applesauce, Pears, Peaches, Bananas, Sweet Potatoes, Squash, Carrots, Green Beans and Peas. Next we will have to work on the second foods and try some oatmeal cereal. His newest big boy sighting in the food department is drinking out of a cup. He loves cups. He grabs any cup within reach...so far I've only had a full cup of water spilled on me but watch out! He also loves his sippy cup. He is also getting some teeth. We have lots of slobber and chewing going on.
He is working on sitting up at daycare and home. He is great with support but gets really excited reaching for things and topples over. He has been spotted rolling over from belly to back and now back to belly. I also catch him scooting backwards...he doesn't get his belly up off the floor yet but he will end up facing different directions and in different spots on the floor. It is time to baby proof the house.
For his six month birthday party we had some baby carrots and peaches. He hasn't tried enough foods to have some cake yet. Bummer. He did get a new big boy car seat, we used a gift card that Glenn's employees had given to Jack. We picked out the golfer argyle one.
Now onto Laundry, Packing bags and making some thing for the church potluck. Have a good weekend Loved Ones!
