The Best Face

The Sleepy Face is by far the best face Jack has. Last night he went to bed at midnight...what a night owl, and he only woke up at 3:30 and 7:00. So that was pretty good! Hopefully we get more nights like that. We had a pretty fun friday night. We went out to dinner with our friends Jeremy, Kari and Nick. Afterwards we watched the Olympics and had some ice cream.

Jack was on his best behavior because he really wanted to hang out with the big kids. He brought his bottle along with him and for the third time practiced drinking out of it like he will do when he goes to daycare. So far he doesn't seem to be bothered by having to drink out of a bottle. Which is a relief to me because his daycare is closer to our home than to my work. It's about 15 miles away from the office so it would be almost impossible if I had to drive down to feed him on my lunch break. So I am very glad he's taking to trying the bottle thing out. Plus it gives Glenn an easy job (that's not changing diapers) and Jack isn't screaming when Glenn holds him. Usually, Glenn comes home right when Jack is hungry, so when he tries to hold him he starts to scream. Which makes dad feel kinda left out. So I think we will let him had some dad-time at least once everyday, after all five mintues of me-time is well deserved.
